“Which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” 1 Corinthians 2:8
Do you understand who you are in Christ? Have you settled into the REALITY that now you are a child of God and a real part of the family that is FATHERED by the God of the bible whose SON purchased you on a ROMAN CROSS? Do you believe that there is no weapon, trial, or temptation of this world that is formed against you that can prosper?
This past Sunday we dug in to 1 Corinthians 2. One of the points we pulled out was how Satan’s Plans Always Backfire. Right now in your life, do you believe this? The difficulties you’re facing, the trials you’re in, do you believe God truly is working these for your good?
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:2-4
Oh dear friends, if God is for you who can be against you. Stay close to Jesus and don’t let your circumstances as difficult as they may be cloud out your view of Jesus. He’ll bring you through everything.
This story is a great picture of what life can feel like at times:
Doctor to patient: “I have bad news and worse news.”
Patient: “So let’s have it.”
Doctor: “The bad news is that you only have 24 hours to live.”
Patient: “I can’t imagine what could be worse than that!”
Doctor: “I forgot to tell you yesterday.”
May God give you today the comfort that no matter what the enemy may be throwing at you today God will be with you and see you through…
